Lots of details to indulge in, beginning with a chrocheted collar and then knit from there in the round with raglan increases.
Stranded colourwork with mohair polkadots as well as textured pattern in the main colour.
Based on my childhood colouring book, this pattern is colourful and whimsical in nature, calling for some experience in both knitting and crochet.
The original uses lots of colours, to mimic crayon drawings of dots and lines, but the sweater is equally lovely using fewer yarns.
I recommend mohair singles yarn for the main colour, for a light and lofty wear.
